At our November 18th pack meeting, we will hear from one of our own families about their experience as long-standing patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). As I am sure many of you can attest, CHOA has been a huge blessing to our community and Pack 805 wants to give back. We will be hosting a service project at our pack meeting and our project will be two-fold:
The pack has purchased items to be made into 50 craft kits that will be handed out to CHOA patients to provide some fun for hospitalized patients. At our meeting on the 18th, scouts will put these kits together and make cards for healthcare workers.
CHOA has compiled a holiday wish list of items that they are collecting to be handed out during the holidays for hospitalized patients. Please see the attached list and choose 1 or 2 NEW and UNWRAPPED items to bring to our November 18th pack meeting.
The craft kits and wish list toys will be delivered to CHOA during the week of Thanksgiving, and we know they will bring some holiday cheer to many of the patients there. We hope you will consider contributing to this worthy cause and will join us at our pack meeting on the 18th.
